Students create poems based on the three Witches in Macbeth...."Boil Boil Toil and Trouble...". They write rich descriptions of the ingredients of a Witch's brew. These are collaged onto a papier mache bowl. The sessions culminate in an en mass reading in role! |

Students created "mini me's" with their school photo as the face and a tooth pick as a pointer stick. Three sided 4" x 14" mini science project display boards were created so the dolls could "do science presentations"! |

Students Created symetrical quilt blocks with paper. The teacher then collaged them into a spectacular wall quilt. |

Students created symetrical patterns with magazine paper and construction paper. Once finished text was added about how the pattern related to pioneer times..."Pin Wheel: If pioneers did not near a lake or a stream, they might collect water from their roofs which would ge full of mosquito larvae etc. OR they might have built a windmill to pump water. |

Poetry Bowls

Students covered half a balloon with papier mache.
When dry the bowls were painted with primary colors.
Words related to the theme of sharing and caring were written on paper and glued in. |

In small groups students taped cardboard boxes together to create functional, stable chairs. A layer of papier mache was added to strenthen the chairs before painting. |
